Hi all and here we go again

I am still in hospital but the Dr has told Mum and Dad that I can go home for a few days. And I am so looking forward to that. No more hospital but then I heard Mum saying that Auckland Starship has rang and that I will be having my opp next week and that they will ring in the next two days with a date.

How have I been well I have put on some weight then I lost it But now my weight is going back up it is now 3920kg so that is good. I have had so many blood test. I am over it, when the nusre come's in the room . I tell her how I feel By crying, and when she leaves I stop.

Apart from that I have not much to say. I have meet some realy cool people in Tauranga Hospital and most of the nusre are cool. But I will be happy to go home.

Well it's been all most a week and mum has told me to add to my story so here go's;

I spent the weekend in Statship not doing much and then on Monday the Dr came around and said that I can go home to Tauanga and I though yes I am all better but no.. i havd to go back to Tauranag Hospital I have to put on some weight, not like I have beeen trying to. Oh and I have to come back to Starship in two weeks where they are going to fix my heart.

So back to Tauranga I came Mum and Dad was hopping to take me home for the two week but when we got back they said I have to stay in Hospital for the next two week in my own room and I am not even aloud out for beause I am not aloud to get sick. On the up side I have put on some weight.

The Dr did talk to Mum and Dad and told then that all the Dr in Auckland Starship Hopsital is going to do is put a patch on my heart just like Mum would have to if my jeans had a hole in. So I am not to sscared now I think.

Hi my name is Izabella and I am 6 weeks old. Thats me in the photo.

And this is my story,

Frist a bit about me,

I have a mum (Tessa) and Dad (Corrie) and a older Brother (Eric).
We all live together in Tauranga, New Zealand. And I have a hole in my heart, well readly two but one is not so big. The little one is called a PFO and the big one is called a VSD.


Mum did not know I have these holes till I was 5 Weeks old. When her mid wife came over to check me out and she to mum to take me the Dr right a way. Which mum did, she is very good at that. The Dr checked me out and sent me to the hospital. Where the Dr there checked me out and then said we would like to do some test.

And that's where it all started. I had a scan of my heart, a x ray of my checst, mite I add I did not like one bit and cryed the hole time, And to add to it they then poked me with a sharp thing in my foot and took some of my blood.

The Dr told my mum that I was not putting on weight because my heart was not working wright and I would have to stay in Hospital for a day or two to see if they could put some weight on me. Ten days later they have sent me to Auckland Starship Hospital. Where the best Dr are for me.

And today I have had a new Scan of my heart, more x rays, more blood test. And are now waiting to be told what they are going to do with me and when I can go home.

By the way I do not Know what a PFO is but mum has told me a VSD means Ventricular Septal Dedect. But I do not know much more than that so when I learn more I will tell you too.

Mum say's it bed time so till tomorow.
